Reaching up to 715 feet above sea level endowed with a cool climate, Casaroro falls was treated as a hidden treasure. Hardly hit by past typhoons, the falls still stands to its beauty and scenic structure as it is surrounded by vast forest trees and big rocks. This falls is located at Valencia, Negros Oriental - approximately a thirty minute ride from Dumaguete City. On your way to this destination, you will pass by Forest Camp and Tejero, two of the most famous pool resort in the province, both powered by natural river current.

Before you can see this astonishing falls, you must gear up to do a hard, bulky walk. Due to the many typhoons and earthquakes, it seems to be impossible to comfortably walk around at the base of the waterfall. Boulders of rocks welcome your adventurous spirit to embark the slippery steps going to the foot of the waterfall.

You will then understand why the falls was dubbed as the most photographed falls when you get  there. The waterfall is naturally narrow unlike other typical waterfalls. The cool breeze given by the rush of the pressure from the top releases your tension after the walk. The natural formation of the beauty of the falls caused by numerous natural calamities can be easily distinguished. The Municipal Government has erected picnic sheds for the visitors who frequent the area for the visitor’s convenience. The falls is still so photogenic to look, colorful and scenic, after all the damages it encountered.
